Made a long sleeve top with ribbed cuffs and neckband. The bodice is a honeycomb knit and the sleeves a checked ponte. Easy to sew up with the overlocker and I used the normal machine to topstitch the armholes and the neckband for a professional finish. I will make more for sure but I will make the neckband a bit smaller, the rib I have is a bit too stretchy I suppose. Very happy with the result. Instructions are excellent.
I tried a Big 4 shirt pattern before this as a new sewist, and then went looking for something with customisable options and solid instructions that would help me grow in my skillset.
This is it!! A reliable pattern that I will make many more times.
Love the options available and the little details-- the boxed pleat at the back, the shoulder tabs, the curved hem, the neat collar stand. Well drafted, the right amount of notches, super clear instructions and diagrams.
My only tiny bit of feedback is that it would be great to list finished garment measurements for the shoulder width.
Brilliant. Not easy but worth it. As with all tadah patterns follow the instructions to the letter. They are 100% correct and helpful
I have made 4-6 dresses every year for my granddaughters (and their friends!). It it fantastic, flawless. The recipients live on the other side of the world and the dresses always fit. The eldest granddaughter refuses to hand down her dresse s as she grows to anyone because she loves them too much!
Absolutely love this pattern. Made the pinafore from an old pair of jeans and am so happy. Easy to follow. Thank you.
